Told you so

PART 1

Sometimes people are just mean and there is nothing you can do about it.

None of this would have happened if she didn’t say this to me, “ I told you so”.

CHAPTER 1

The problem

As once again we were playing a game outside against the boys. My favourite game. 5 aside netball. In my team was, Lucy, Amelia Sophia And Zoe. These guys were my best friends. At half time Zoe said

“ guys I keep running around everywhere but no one’s throwing the ball to me”

“Yeah but you’re running round so much we can’t throw it to you”.

“Yeah”, Amelia, Sophia and Lucy said.

“But, huh, you don’t get it”.

Our teacher, Mrs Cook came over and said

“Zoe’s trying the hardest and you’re not paying attention”.

“sorry,” we all say except for Zoe who has a slight grin on her face.  

“Well anyway it’s time to go inside,”  Mrs Cook said.

“I told you so Emma,” Zoe said in a “you’re so dumb voice” as we walked inside.

“Shutup” I sighed. Zoe started to cry. Lucy tried to defend Zoe by saying things like,

“you’re so mean” and

“You’ve got a problem”. Until one caught my ear that made everyone gasp,

“Actually, your problem is so big you should go to a school for kids with special needs”. I felt like drowning in a pool of tears. As I ran off to the bathroom to cry I heard people saying to Lucy, “Forget about tonight”, “Just don’t talk to me”, “I don’t want to be your friend anymore”. Even Zoe was mad at Lucy, as she just walked away.

CHAPTER 2

The suspending

I heard footsteps from outside the bathroom, then heard a voice “Emma, come out now please” and straight away I knew it was Mrs Cook. “I talked to Lucy and she said she was just really mad at you”.  I heard more footsteps and I really hoped it wasn’t Lucy, but it wasn’t it was Zoe. “Emma, please come out I’m sorry,” said Zoe. I heard Mrs Cook whisper to Zoe,

“she might listen to you”,

“I heard that”, I said Disgustedly.

“Well please come out and let us talk to you?”

“yeh ok”

As I got out there Zoe says in surprise “holey, your face is redder than a tomato!”

“Only because I was crying just till Mrs Cook came out”

“I’m so so sorry Zoe” and I ran up and gave her a big hug.

“I ‘ll go get lu - no don’t!” me and Zoe yelled

“Ok, ok, I’ll leave you guys alone for a bit”.

When me and Zoe went back inside we saw lucy getting pulled out of the classroom “but I don’t want to be suspended”

“too bad,” said our principal Mr Cam.

“Well, it looks like we won’t be seeing her for a while!”

“HaHa yeh”.

Chapter 3

The suite life

Since Lucy had gone everything had changed. Instead of half the girls following lucy they all followed Emma.
“The attention is crazy” I whispered to Zoe one day.

“I wonder who just pulled up?”

“Yeah, no one ever pulls up in school”. Everyone was staring. The door opened and … LUCY STEPPED OUT!!!!

Lucy looked so so different. She was wearing ripped jeans and camo converses. She ran up and gave me and Zoe a big hug.

“What”? me and Zoe said puzzledly

“Hello good-

“what do you think you’re doing?” I asked

“Giving you a hug”

“Do you not remember Monday?”

“But let’s just forget that and move on”

“Are you serious?” “you were so mean to me -

“Yeah, don’t you remember what you said,” Lucy said, “what was it - oh yeah, your problem is so big you should go to a school for kids with special needs?”.

Yeah about that…………

Calendar art

At school, we have been doing calendar art. we got to choose what we wanted to do so I chose this. I originally had Live, Love and laugh ( that's why I did those symbols/pictures) If you can't see the numbers after the #, it's 2018. hardcore stands for "Taranaki hardcore" and "Taranaki like no other" But I didn't put that in because there wasn't enough space.

FLOOD!!!

One rainy morning I told Nana that it would funny if school was cancelled because of the really heavy rain. I didn't realise how bad it was until I looked out the back door, "Nana", I shouted, " it's flooded out the back!".

When we got to school I saw Ava and her dad walking up the path, I thought she mustn't have been feeling well and was going home. "schools cancelled cause of the heavy rain". "What?!" I said with a surprised look on my face. "really that is awesome!".

As we walked up the laneway I said to Dylan, " let's make up a victory song". "sure", she said.
It went like this, "School is flooded whoa its now cancelled YEH YEH, X3.

When we got home I told Nana what happened and she was shocked. "I saw something flash past my eyes and I thought it couldn't be grandad!". "well I guess another day with you dudes then!".

Do you have any pets? 2 guinea pigs, 1 dog 2 cats, Names? Pixie the dog peaches and Daisy the guinea pigs and buddy and Maggie the cats.  Okay here’s the tricky questions coming up after the break. OK, what do you love about Frankley school Vi -  I love the wonderful teachers, my friends, and opal the guinea pig.  What would you like to change at Frankley - so that we are allowed in the bush with a year 6 or teacher at lunch and that the cross country is in summer. What would you like to add in Frankley school? Swings in the playground, more classrooms because I think there are too many kids in room 8/9 and 10/11.

At school, we had a recount workshop and Mr Anderson told us to do a recount on a moment in our life. If it was sad, happy, funny, weird or made people gasp. Here is mine, its called OUCH!!!!!!!!!!



Me my sister, and my friend Lily were dancing around my basement, until I accidentally bumped into my friend. she went to smack my bum, and I mustn't have been thinking straight because I pulled my pants down............... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! she smacked my bare bum!!!!!!!
Lily ran to the sink laughing and quickly washed her hands. Mum must have heard, because she ran down stairs and saw us laughing hard out. Mum asked whats wrong and we acted it out for her.

Info report on my dog Riley

!Riley!

INTRO: Dogs are the cutest things ever… in my opinion. There fluffy, cute, cuddly, big and small and smart (not all of them though, my dogs quite dumb)

About his breed:

My dog’s breed is a Shih Tzu. Shih Tzu is the Chinese word for lion. the Chinese named the dog this because of the hair around their face, as it looked like a main.

Gender, age, and diet:

Riley’s age is 1 year and 7 months. When we got him he was only 5 months old and adorable. His gender is a boy. Riley eats wet meat and dry kibbles for breakfast and dinner and does not have lunch

What he does:

Riley is nuts sometimes, especially when he is just out the bath (wet) or when my brother runs around the house yelling or making weird noises. Riley, on weekdays, when we’re at school he goes to my parents work for the day. At home Riley plays with his toys, sleeps and chases Jesse.

When and why we got him:

When: We got Riley 2016 25th may.

Why: we used to have a dog called Bruce. We were renovating the house so we had to give him to some till we were done. When we finished renovating mum said it would be best if the guy who had Bruce kept him cause Bruce needed a lot of exercises but we were busy all the time and the guy who we gave him to walked Bruce every morning and Bruce kept running away. We were all very sad but we agreed. About a year later dad wanted another dog and mum was hardly agreeing, but when she saw the photos she fell in love with Riley. About a month later we went to pick up Riley. He was very shy at first but after a few days he got used to us

(not in order of best things)

1. Taranaki|||Why i recommend: because of the great places and activities, Len lye, Wind wand, Pukekura park, Mt Taranaki, whale bone bridge, Paritutu rock and the sugar loaf islands. I love my home heaps.
2. Ohope|||Why i recommend: the beach is amazing and the tide doesn't come in the whole way so if the tide is in or out, you can play on the beach!
3. Napier|||Why i recommend: Napier is a popular tourist city and Napier has well-documented maori history. It is also placed in hawkes bay.
4. The 90 mile beach|||Why i recommend:The beach and its northern sand are a tourist destination. Although i have not been there, i wish i had because it looks so fun.
5. Pukakura festival of lights|||Why i recommend: it’s so great to just take a night and go look at the festival of lights. Pukekura Park in New Plymouth and  Every summer, from mid-December to late-January, it’s festooned with thousands of magical lights.
6. Taranaki wind wand|||Why i recommend: well it's on the coastal walk way and an artist designed it called: len lye. Len lye also created the len lye center based in taranaki. On the coastal walk way the whale bone bridge is also placed there.
7. Christchurch|||Why i recommend: well christchurch gets a lot of earthquakes, so it's great to go and see the old buildings that have sadly fallen over.
8. Wellington|||Why i recommend: well wellington is one of those city’s you should not miss because of the huge bulbing the fun activities and the man made beach. It's also the capital city and has the best museum in NZ, Te papa.
9. Queenstown|||Why i recommend: well queenstown has the best skiing grounds in NZ,  lots of activities, a bustling nightlife and beautiful scenery.
10.  Lake taupo|||Why i recommend: if you have a boat then, bring it with you to lake taupo, to see the maori carvings, biscuiting on the lake (is so much  fun)and the amazing Mt Ruapehu.
11. Milford sounds|||Why i recommend: you can go for an all day tour on a boat in sunny weather, and see great views and marvelous oceans.
12. Rotorua|||why i recommend: it has some beautiful lakes like, blue lake, lake rotoiti and lake Routara It has so much fun activites and is 45 minutes away from taupo. I personally love the thermal hot pool.

   13.Bay of islands|||why i recommend:you’ll enter a maritime adventure playground with a show of wildlife including penguins, dolphins, marlin, whales,

and many more. It is an amazing place to dive with your friends.

   14.Blue lake|||why i recommend: the coluor of it is amazing and it's so refreshing to swim in.
